My Word is Liberty

Updated: Jul 9, 2024

On Sunday, a powerful rhema word came to our congregation, instructing us to receive a unique word from God for each month of 2022. This word would be personal and individual, guiding us throughout the year. At the end of the year, we are to reflect on how God moved in our lives over the past 12 months.

I was deeply moved by this instruction. So much so, that I immediately sought God for my first word. I wanted it to epitomize what I needed and stood for. My word is LIBERTY.

Within seconds of receiving my word, it resonated in my spirit like a profound sermon. It brought a great sense of peace and renewal. I also understood that in the pursuit of liberty, I must be intentional about seeking it.

One of the goals for my business, which is also my ministry, is to manifest the evidence of scripture in my life. I want people to see that scripture is not just a collection of words from a popular book. Scriptures are life, promises, and instructions.

My ministry aims to free people from the bondage of mediocrity. The first freedom we must acquire is freedom in our minds. When we are happy and whole, free of emotional and mental restraints, we become free to walk confidently into our purpose.

When we operate confidently in our purpose, we can prosper in every area of our lives. Since my ministry serves clients from a holistic approach, it is clear that the main goal in pursuing true liberty is being debt-free and prospering through wise investments.

Thriving on passive income can begin when we are debt-free or living significantly below our means and investing in our personal and professional development.

Achieving this level of liberty requires a mindset shift. Most of us were not raised to operate on this level, so we need to hire experts to help us get there.

When I began searching for scripture to guide me to liberty, I found Romans 13:8:

"Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law." Romans 13:8 (KJV)

This scripture speaks beyond love. To love someone, you must first know how to love and start with loving yourself. This is where we encounter the emotional and mental baggage that creates a barrier between us and our destiny.

The scripture also touches on being debt-free. Only then can we truly prosper through wise investments. This is the end goal when working with my clients. I aim for them not only to pursue home purchases and secure life insurance for their families but also to make wise investments that will sustain their lifestyle, allowing them to operate freely in their purpose.

With all this in mind, I encourage you to seek God for your instruction on what you need to be totally free in Him. What steps must you take first? Is it gaining employment, starting a business, investing, or even relocating? As I pursue my journey to freedom, I will share my progress with you.

Until next time, learn, build, and share. Learn more. Build with what you’ve learned. Share your knowledge and experience with as many as you can. It may just be the gift that makes room for you and places you in the presence of great men.
